Forward/Back/Play/Pause on SonaVERSE BX does not work

Forward/Back/Play/Pause functions only work if a memory card or flash drive is being used.
Are you connecting one of these devices, or do you have the SonaVERSE BX plugged into a media device?
The SonaVERSE BX only has the ability to operate the Forward/Back/Play/Pause functions when the buttons are being pressed and using a memory card or flash drive.
While using a memory card or flash drive, does pressing the Forward/Back/Play/Pause buttons work?
